The actor will obtain its Movies for Grownups Career Achievement Award at a gala ceremony subsequent 12 months.

AARP mentioned Thursday the actor will obtain its Movies for Grownups Career Achievement Award at a gala ceremony subsequent 12 months.

The 79-year-old actor has already acquired the American Movie Institute’s Life Achievement Award, the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award and a Nationwide Medal of the Arts from President Barack Obama.

He’ll settle for the AARP honor at a dinner Feb. 6 in Beverly Hills. Earlier recipients of the Motion pictures for Grownups Profession Achievement Award embrace Michael Douglas, Susan Sarandon, Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone and Robert Redford.

Freeman received an Academy Award for 2004’s Million Greenback Child and has acquired 4 different nominations. His most up-to-date movie credit are Ben-Hur and Now You See Me 2.
